Independence Harley-Davidson® is looking to honor those who display acts of heroism above and beyond the call of duty. On Saturday, September 11 during A Tribute to Heroes Concert we will be honoring four individuals from the Charlotte area who demonstrate ongoing leadership and commitment to the community they serve. Eligible recipients include telecommunicators, firefighters (career or volunteer), police, EMTs, military personnel (active or retired), and medical service individuals (nurses, doctors, or hospital staff). The recipients will be awarded a plaque and $100.
Criteria:
• Must be an active member of the above-mentioned areas
• Be nominated by an individual who completes the nomination form
• Persons nominating as well as the nominees themselves must be at least 18 years of age
• Nominators must secure their nominee’s permission to submit their names
Nomination Process:
• Submit a summary of his/her service with any supporting documentation such as awards, letters or special recognitions that demonstrate this individuals support
• The nomination form and all supporting documents submitted prior to September 7, 2021 to Krystle Miller at krystle@ih-d.com
Selection:
• Nominations will be reviewed and considered based on the criteria listed above
• Recipients will be notified on September 9, 2021
Presentation:
The recipients will be honored at A Tribute to Heroes Concert at Independence Harley-Davidson® on Saturday, September 11. Recipients will need to be present for the ceremony. Two individuals will be honored at 8 pm and the other two at 9 pm that evening.
